KBNA airport layer (open data) ================================ This is the airport layout that ATC Relay (by Navisphere Studios) shows in the browser for KBNA: runways, taxiways, taxi routes, parking positions and building outlines, in local metres around the airport reference point. Licence ------- This database is made from OpenStreetMap data and is available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0: https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/ Contains information from OpenStreetMap, which is made available under the Open Database License. (c) OpenStreetMap contributors: https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright Any rights in individual contents of the database are licensed under the Database Contents License: http://opendatacommons.org/licenses/dbcl/1.0/ You may copy, distribute and adapt this file as long as you credit OpenStreetMap and its contributors and keep any database you build from it under the same licence. Sources ------- - OpenStreetMap aeroway features (runway, taxiway, taxilane, apron, holding_position, parking_position) and building outlines, extracted through the Overpass API. OSM data base timestamp of the aeroway extract: 2026-09-21T05:12:50Z. Building outlines come from a separate OpenStreetMap extract of the same airport. - FAA National Airspace System Resource (NASR) airport data, cycle effective 2026-09-03: runway dimensions, thresholds, elevation and true alignment. Data from a US federal source; not FAA-endorsed. - FAA minimum vectoring altitude chart data, where present in the file (field "mva"). - FAA Coded Instrument Flight Procedures (CIFP), cycle 2609 (file FAACIFP18, https://aeronav.faa.gov/Upload_313-d/cifp/CIFP_260903.zip): the departure and arrival procedures (SIDs and STARs) in the field "procedures", with their source in "procedureSource". FAA CIFP-derived simulation paths, not for real-world navigation. Includes FAA/DOD-NGA sourced material; the FAA does not warrant NGA DAFIF data accuracy and is not responsible for this derived product. Provided as-is, without warranty, and without FAA endorsement. A suspected chart error can be reported to us; verified errors are passed to the FAA under the CIFP customer-notification terms. How it was made --------------- Coordinates were converted to local metres around the airport reference point; the taxi graph (points and paths) was built from the OSM taxiway geometry with algorithmic joins between parking positions and the taxiways (lead-in points); features were subset to the aerodrome. No simulator, scenery or third-party airport database was used. Gate facts that are not part of this database (airlines, concourse and terminal names, international-arrival flags) are supplied separately by the service and are not in this file. The per-gate airline lists (field "airlines") are ATC Relay's own default gate assignments for this airport: players make and share their own. Not for navigation. This layout is for simulation and entertainment only.
